1. Data we collect about you

We collect certain data from you directly, like information you enter yourself. We collect data automatically, such as data about your consumption of content. You can also choose to provide profile information like a photo, headline, biography, or other data. Your profile data will be publicly viewable by others; for example, when you ask a question, other students and instructors can see your photo and user name.

Shared content

Parts of the services let you interact with other users or share content publicly, for example by posting reviews about content, asking or answering questions, or sending messages to instructors. Such shared content may be publicly viewable by others, depending on where it is posted.

Third-party services are operated, controlled, and maintained by third parties that are not operated, controlled, or maintained by us. We recommend that you read the terms of use and privacy policies of those third party services to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information with us or other third parties.

Surveys

We may invite you to complete a survey, either through the Services or a third-party platform. If you participate, we will collect and store the data you provide as part of participating, such as your name, email address, and responses to the survey. That data is subject to this Privacy Policy unless otherwise stated. Where we use a third-party platform to administer a survey, the third party’s privacy policy will apply.
